Welcome to Reef Tours Okinawa! My name is James from Bondi Beach, Australia. I am thrilled to be your guide on this incredible journey through the ocean. My passion for the sea ignited at a very young age on the beautiful shores of Bondi and surrounding beaches, where I learned the art of riding waves and scuba diving and skin diving alongside my siblings and friends and catching fish taught by professional fishermen. After spending over 20 years in Okinawa I have immersed myself in the local marine environment and culture working with the local fisheries and have been able to surf ,dive and fish teaching all over the Islands and have dedicated my life to helping others discover the wonders of the ocean.

As a certified NAUI scuba diving instructor, skin diving instructor and licensed PWC Rescue Operator with Japan Water Patrol, BLS certified have developed a comprehensive teaching program that encompasses surfing, diving, ocean swimming, fishing, spearfishing, safety and more. For me, the ocean is not just a job; it is a way of life that I cherish deeply.
