The Boat

You'll be Diving from a modern, 35ft Japanese-style center console boat, equipped with a new Yamaha 4-stroke 175hp engine, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.

Itinerary

Day 1

  • 9:30am - latest 10:00am: Meet at Unten Port.

  • 10:30am: Depart Unten Port.

  • 11:30am: Arrive at Izena Island.

  • 12:00pm: Board the dive boat and meet the captain and staff.

  • 12:30pm - 5:00pm: Enjoy an afternoon of diving. 2 x dives

  • Evening: Return to your accommodation for a shower and rest. Enjoy a dinner prepared by the staff,

Day 2

  • 8:00am - 12:00pm: Morning diving session 2 dives (start time may vary by season).

  • Afternoon: Pack up .

  • 1:30pm: Depart Izena Port.

  • 2:30pm: Arrive at Unten Port.

Pricing

The tour includes all ferry fees, accommodation, boat charter, diving tanks and wights. and dinner. Prices vary depending on the number of participants: diving gear NOT INCLUDED. Rental available.

Trip Details

  • Diving Experience: Tailored to all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Discuss with the captain and guide to choose between fun diving and drift diving or both.

  • Diving environment: Izena offers a variety of dive sites with good drift diving with deep drop off to see large fish and beautiful coral gardens for more relaxed style of diving. Lots of turtles etc..

  • Bad Weather Policy: The captain decides whether to go out or stay close to shore for safety. No charge if the boat does not go out.

Things to Bring

  • Diving equipment (Tanks and weights included in price) RENTAL AVAILABLE

  • Sunscreen, sun protection hat.

  • Overnight stay bag and a towel

  • Drinks (alcoholic or soft drinks)

  • breakfast for the 2nd morning ( something basic) can buy at a supermarket.

  • Sunscreen

  • Seasick medicine (if needed)

Additional Information

  • The guide, James, is fluent in Japanese.

  • Optional visits to nearby Iheya Island are available weather permitting.

  • Staff may restrict participation for passengers who are unwell.

We totally understand that sometimes plans change, and we're excited to help you! If you need to cancel your diving trip, just give us a shout. And don't worry—if the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll gladly work with you to reschedule or issue a full refund. Thanks for being part of our diving adventure!

3-7 days 80% refund of all fishing/diving fees.

48 hours to 72 hours 50% refund for fishing/diving fees.
