Experience the beauty and tranquility of Okinawa's Izena and Iheya Islands with Reef Tours Okinawa. This immersive 2-night, 3-day tour offers a perfect blend of fishing and cultural experiences, guided by professional Japanese fishermen and an English-speaking guide.

The Boat

You'll be fishing from a modern, 35ft Japanese-style center console boat, equipped with a new Yamaha 4-stroke 175hp engine, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.

Itinerary

Day 1

• 9:30am - latest 10:00am: Meet at Unten Port.

• 10:30am: Depart Unten Port.

• 11:30am: Arrive at Izena Island.

• 12:00pm: Board the fishing boat and meet the captain and staff.

• 12:30pm - 5:00pm: Enjoy an afternoon of fishing.

• Evening: Return to your accommodation for a shower and rest. Enjoy a dinner prepared by the staff, featuring sashimi from your catch.

Day 2

• 8:00am - 4:00pm: Full day fishing (start time may vary by season).

• 1 hour for lunch

• Evening: Return to your accommodation for a shower and rest. Enjoy a dinner prepared by the staff, featuring sashimi from your catch.

Day 3

• 7:00am - 12:00pm: Morning fishing session (start time may vary by season).

• Afternoon: Pack up and prepare your fish for transport. Optional: sell your catch to the captain to offset costs.( this can only happen if the fish market is open the next morning.)

• 1:30pm: Depart Izena Port.

• 2:30pm: Arrive at Unten Port.

 

 

 

 

Pricing

The tour includes all ferry fees, accommodation, boat charter, and dinner. Prices vary depending on the number of participants:

• 6 people: 384,200 yen (64,000 yen per person)

• 5 people: 373,700 yen (74,700 yen per person)

• 4 people: 363,200 yen (90,800 yen per person)

• 3 people: 352,700 yen (117,550 yen per person) MAX FOR GT

• 2 people: 342,200 yen (171,100 yen per person)

• 1 person:331,700 yen

Trip Details

• Fishing Experience: Tailored to all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Discuss with the captain to choose between general reef fishing or pelagic fishing.

• Fish Types: Izena offers a variety of fish including Grouper, GT, Tuna, Dogtooth tuna, Mackerel, snapper and barracuda.

• Bad Weather Policy: The captain decides whether to go out or stay close to shore for safety. No charge if the boat does not go out.

Things to Bring

• Fishing equipment (basic bait rig rental available for free)

• waterproof warm fishing wear

• Overnight stay bag and a towel

• Drinks (alcoholic or soft drinks)

• breakfast for the 2nd morning ( something basic) can buy at a supermarket.

• Sunscreen

• Seasick medicine (if needed)

Additional Information

• The guide, James, is fluent in Japanese.

• Optional visits to nearby Iheya Island are available for an extra fuel cost of 10,000 yen, weather permitting.

• Staff may restrict participation for passengers who are unwell.

We totally understand that sometimes plans change, and we're excited to help you! If you need to cancel your fishing trip, just give us a shout. And don't worry—if the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll gladly work with you to reschedule or issue a full refund. Thanks for being part of our fishing adventure!
